V Paddles on Raptor 90... Help W/ Measurments

I'm installing 95 V-Paddles on my Raptor 90 and have a question on how far to thread them onto the flybar...

Do the set screws clamp onto the threaded area of the flybar or should i screw the paddles on further so the screws clamp onto the small ridged area just inside the thread?

Also, does anyone know of a specific distance to mount the paddles for the best cyclic rate?

My experience: putting V's on your Raptor will probably slow it down and smooth it out. I have to run my servos over 100 to get full cyclic on my Raptor 60 and, the Red TT paddles or Yellow QUK plastic paddles are the fastest I have tested. I am putting my V-paddles on my gasser.
