I was just wondering if anyone spindle shafts were ever reusable able destroying your blades...I put my 700 in and I did the yes were u stick the hex driver in the spindle bolt and turn it to see if I can feel or see any bending audit seems like its ok ...is it common it reuseing the spindle after crashes

Yes you can probably use it with no problems, but my rule in this hobby is when in doubt throw it out, no need to loose a 90 size blade or any blade for that matter, could cost you your heli if it decides to let go in flight.

You can roll it on a mirror and see if it's bent. I've re- used one after a minor incident, but if your talking about a crash blades and all, I would just bolt in a new one and not even worry with it.;)

To answer your question - No.
It can still be cracked or damaged. Unless you can magna flux it..it does not worth the risk.

if it rolls flat its fine to use, if its still flat it didnt get stressed by being bent.
if it wobbles at all rolling it on a flat surface toss it.
I straightened 450 shafts for years V1 and V2's and never had one fail but when it comes to a 700 theres no way id mess with a bent shaft.

I had a minor incident with my 700e (I know I know wrong forum but it’s the same thing) had a gear strip in flight.
The blades were fine but the main shaft was slightly bent ( maybe 1 degree off center) so I replaced that but kept the head the same as I used the spinning feathering shaft trick with one blade on so you can see any difference in angle plus they didn’t feel like they moved up or down.
anyway got some new radix blades and tracked them, they needed one turn, flew great for the first pack, 2nd and 3rd pack had a bad vibration in the heli went from 2.0 in flight to 8.0 on my sk 720
get home and their 1 turn out of tracking ....... am guessing that the shaft is bent and since align decided they are to glue all your bearing in I now am going to have to smack the bearing out and replace them to as they will get more damaged in removal
bottom line don’t be cheap replace the thing it’s like 9$

ditto... 10 bucks, or a few hundred bux, or worse yet your life??
replace it, along with bolts. I'm sure the bearings are kashed as well..
