Becky and I already have our room reserved at the Sleep Inn. We stayed there last year and it was nice. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon. We will also be bringing some pilot prizes.

Harkey has promised better parking for us "low bred" tent and pop-up campers. We will all be equal trailer trash this year

Well this week the weather has made a major change. It was in the mid 70's yesterday and suppose to be in the low 80's today. Rain in the forecast for Thursday this week. Hopefully this weather pattern will stay with us thru the event.
It is looking like Spring around here, trees are budding and flowers are starting to bloom.
Been getting some nice prizes from the manufactuers and distributors. So some of the pilots will take home a nice item.

Anyone coming up early? I'm thinking about taking off most of that week as well to hang out at the field.

I'm actually going to be flying this year so I guess I should go ahead and get MA to send a couple boxes of parts, lol.

Oh, Rule #1, don't make fun of the basic 3D guy (me).

:) :) :)

I am trying to be there Thursday. Not being there Wed like the last few years is going to be tough, but I can't find childcare for Wed. :(

David, is the Sleep Inn that's giving your offer the one on Oxmoor Rd? I'm having trouble with my MS office BS and can't download your pages.
Thx,
Keith

The Sleep Inn is giving a great rate, BUT...if your looking for After hours fun the other hotles are situated all together and is where most of the pilots will be gathering for dinner, drinks and all out mayham!

Sleep Inn only has a few rooms left. It is the closest to the field. There is food and drink places within 1/4 mile of the motel.
Sleep Inn appreciates everyone that stays there, as in years past it will be all heli event attendees staying there.

Door prizes have been arriving daily for the registered pilot raffle. Well I had contacted another heli pilot up in NJ/NY area that just happens to be musician also. So of you pilots up in that area may know JA1010. His name is Jeff Hildebrant, but he goes by the stage name of J A Allen. Anyway Jeff has been working on a CD for the last year. His work paid off and the CD was released couple months ago. He is starting a tour soon.
Anyway Jeff sent me several copies of the CD to give as pilot door prizes.
I have listened to the CD, it is some awesome guitar playing taking place in the CD.
