Is there one
Picked up my 14MZ this afternoon and I'm know playing with it. One bit I'm having trouble getting used to is the pitch and throttle curves. What type of curve do I use, Linear, Exp1 or Exp2 etc
Being used to the FF9 you could select say point 2 and adj the value but I can't see a way of select point 2 say and adj that point on the 14MZ just the two end points on the curve. It prob quite obvious when pointed out but untill then I'm stumped :arggg:
Bob we need a guide for the 14MZ with all screens gone through step by step pretty please :D

I use V line which allows you to set each point. I also delete many points and use a 5 point curve (for my electric helis anyway).

That MZ is just one awesome rig for sure -
I am still pondering how I can use and do I want to, the acceleration feature and it would really be nice if they could code a release with a talking timer.

Ron,
Have you given any thought to recording your own. You could start the wav by saying one minute and record silence for on minute then say two minutes....and make it in whatever interval you wanted. Then just have the timer wav start at one minute.

SteveL... been trying to do this. How do you trigger the timer to start playing a wav file?

Ooops I made an assumtion that you could have your timer play a .wav. Is this not possible (I only have a 12 but have helped a friend with hiw 14)

Looking into it you can set a .wma file to play using the player and set it to run via J3 in Sel. SW
Just found out that you need to set the on/off point without the cf card inserted because as soon as the file plays it disables the sw setting screen

January a year later, anyways. :)
Bob doesn't fly the 14MZ anymore, so I don't think a video is forthcoming on it.

Why did Bob left his 14MZ ?? =(
I just love this radio. I mean... it could be a little easier to use (or better manual, maybe?) but it still rocks! I can't see myself flying any other radio after this one :D

I don't want to speak for Bob, though I know the reason. Suffice it to say, it wasn't because the 14MZ is sub-par in any way.
