Hi guys, I am currently building an old Concept 46 VR with a few mods and is my first nitro heli.
This is a low budget entry into flying a nitro and is a bit of an example for those who don't have a lot of cash and still want to get into this amazing hobby.
I started with a mate giving me some parts and then I advertised for more and have ended up with a heli that will not set the world on fire but will make quite a good trainer.
The first mod was a boom extension and carbon rod drive to the tail rotor in place of the wire drive which would twist and make tail control a handful. This was done by Pat Brown in Oz and his work is legendary.
The next is a home made boom mount for the tail servo(remember this is low budget) which has replaced the two piece rod control for the tail which was also badly designed in the first place.
So I'll add a couple of pics and continue soon.

More to follow.
Cheers,
