Haven't heard much out of this forum lately, anyone have any news on the Aurora? Last I heard it was planned to be released in time for christmas. <sarcasm>Now given that shipping around the holidays takes longer, that means it'll be out next week!! Woohoo!</sarcasm> :mrgreen: Seriously though, anyone have any news on whether or not it will actually make it out before 07?

The Synergy N9 was what? Two years after the announcement. You may want to put the money in a short term CD. ;)

Regarding dates the one thing I can tell you is that we expect Santa to be pretty busy delivering Auroras this Christmas. To get ready for that we started this week contacting the new dealers and finalizing the agreements with the dealers and the new dealers list that will be published in two weeks once all dealer agreements are finalized.
Here's the response to people asking about the dealer list or the possiblity of the helicopter actually being out for Christmas:

Yea, I've pretty much given up on it. I've got a shiney new Synergy though. :glasses2:
I will still probably get an Aurora, but it will be a while before that happens.

I bought a used Avant when everyone was dumping them thinking the Aroura was imminenet, I've been flying it a few months now, happy as a clam.

I would wait till the pro and dedicated get all the bugs out. It is unheard of to roll out something new version 1.0 that does not have "issues".
I think the Aurora is the best looking Heli out there but I will wait on it. I use it on the sim all the time anyway. :smokin:
