Well, simple question to a freekin impossible task?

ive been trying methods to remove clutch bell from the pinion gear so i can use the mod 1 gear upgrade. seems impossible during my attempts. been heating the thing, brute force trying to unscrew the pinion from the clutch bell etc. i bought my 700 from a guy that built it, but that hadnt flown it yet. dunno what loctite he used or whatever. im afraid to hurt the clutch bell as its as soft as butter almost.

anybody got any suggestions?

I used a propane torch to heat the pinion where it meets the clutch bell, then used a pair of pliers to hold the pinion (the teeth on my pliers meshed with the pinion teeth perfect). Then I held the clutch bell with towel and... Talked it into letting go. :)
