It was really nice meeting you Alan. It is always good to put a face to a name. That's what is great about this hobby, being able to help others out. The people are the reason that I enjoy this so much.
Are you guys going to make Chattanooga next month? We will be there.
I'll be at Chatti, Thinking about camping on the field.

Work Sucks!
I had a great time at this event. I would like to thank all the people that put on this event. Troy, Cliff, Rick and anyone else I missed. Happy Birthday again Steve. Thanks for all the hospitality Gina, Gail, and Julie.
Thanks for all the help Clintstone.
If you haven't been to this event or area before it is just beautiful country. Bert, Craig, David, and I had a great time...wish we would have stayed one or two nights at the field longer to take part in some of the night flying festivities but the majority of the group was hungry and was dying for food and by time we came back everything looked wrapped up....so night flying went on at Microtel Parking Facilities.
Anyway thanks again to all involved...it was a great event.

First Off. I would like to thank everyone that attended this year is was the biggest and best event we have had. We had 88 registered pilots this year. :WOW Everyone seemed to get in as much flying as they wanted to. The weather was great this year with just a few clouds on Saturday morning but the sun broke out in the afternoon. Sundays weather was awesome with plenty of sun and warm temps. This was one of the awesome events that I have been to, everyone had a safe and fun time, there was very little trash to be picked up in the mornings. I would like to thank all the manufactures and vendors that attended, Vendors were Big Al's Hobby, High Voltage RC, V-Blades. The manufactures that were there was Avant, Flightpower USA, Forture Model Products, Futaba, Miniature Aircraft, Synergy Helicopters and V-Blades. I hope that I'm not forgetting anyone. Pics will be posted in a couple of days. I would also like to thank all the people that helped put on this event. Thanks to Steve and Gail Dixon, Clint and Julie Akins, Cliff and Jackie Hebert, Margo Copeland and especially my wife Gina who cooked some awesome food this year. I hope that I didn't miss anyone else but if I did THANKS.
Once again a BIG THANK YOU ALL :D
P.S. If anyone found a set of keys and a checkbook please PM me your telephone number so we can get these items back to their owners.

I enjoyed myself quite thoroughly at this event. I even gathered the courage to get my Trex 450 up to a decent altitude and break into a little FF for the first time! I was able to log 12 flights over the three days so I got plenty of flying in.
I enjoyed all the flying I saw, especially the pros that brought the T-Rex 600 Nitros. The turbine heli was pretty cool to watch and I managed to catch my first glimpse of night flying on Saturday as well and I was quite impressed.
My favorite part of the event was watching Alan Szabo Jr. and Jason Krause do a combined demo Saturday evening. The part where they were doing the synchronized rainbows one on top of the other was incredible. I've never seen that before, in a video or otherwise (this was only my second event though). My camera was pretty dead at the time so I couldn't film it. Anyone manage to take a video of that, and if so, can you post?
Between this event and Triple Creek I now have a HeliFreak shirt, hat, and towel. I'm ready to represent wherever I go!

I had a GREAT time, this was my first fun fly and I was very impressed!
The wife and I are talking about going to Chattanooga as well, although I am not sure at this point if we are going or not.
Congrats to the guy that won the Synergy kit (nice win!)
I have many pictures that should be posted on the Huntsville Heli flyers website very soon. I also have some short videos of some of the pilots that I took with my digital camera. I will try and get some of those posted on here soon!

Wow. What a great event again for the Huntsville club. The weather was great and as always the food and "family."
Earl, you are welcome anytime! Even all the four legged friends had a great time.
Way to go Steve and Gail for winning the big prize!
Can't wait to see everyone in Chattanooga.

I'm glad that you had a good time. I have been to many funflys in the past couple of years and the worst I have attended was still great. Each one has it's own character and charm. You really should make it to Chattanooga. Charles always puts on a great event.
Maybe I will see you next weekend in Huntsville (I hope)!!

I had to go to SEFF to work and have a lot less fun, but hopefully there will not be a conflict between Huntsville and SEFF next year. :(

Bert,
Thanks for the kind comments. You guys are always welcome whether there is an event or not. You should make it up here for a long weekend so we can show you more of Huntsville. I also hope you make it to Chattanooga later this month. I would really like seeing you guys again.
