I can recommend the Olympus SP350.. 8MP, thread for converter lens, 4 Mypic settings, 28 scene choices, manual, shutter or aperture priority, RAW, 190g empty weight. 3v power (AAs or DE regulator from other power souce), best of all, crisp pictures!
Olympus refurbished ones are on eBay for under $US200, I bought a spare, as did my G/F. We like 'em!

Trex i suggest Casio Exilim Z850
Log+ a Nikon, Canon, Olympus 8 MP +
I own an Olympus Evolt 500 and I think its a fantastic camera.
also had the Z-850 and it rocked for the rex, had continous shot feature that would auto take a pic every 1 second, So ic ould go up tilt, fly, land and browse my photos.

you should post the picture of how you did the servo trigger on this. I think it is very clean setup on your polecam.

Thanks Andrey, here it is.
I found a fantastic solution for making a bracket at an odd angle. This product is called different things for each market, but it is a UV sensitive glassfibre reinforced adhesive patch. You simply take it out of the light-proof envelope, cut it with scissors, bend it to the shape you want, and then put it out in the sun or under a black light bulb.
In no time at all, you have a stiff glass bracket about 1/16" thick. I finished up adding CF reinforcement, but only because the Askman mount top bar wasn't very wide, so I wanted to reduce flex a little.
I also turned the servo around from the second pic, and the O-ring on the balljoint can be seen on the servo arm in both photos.

I've seen people use all types of cameras. I'm using a canon powershot S500 5meg camera on my logo 10 and using a canon powershot A630 8meg on my stinger 50. Both have continuous shoot. I've been very happy with both. I can also setup custom settings on both of them. I had the Casio Exilim EX-Z1000, but took it back. I was disappointed in the picture quality.

Panasonic DMC-LX1 on my small heli. It shoots in RAW and I like the 16:9 format. Photos are a little grainy but it's easily corrected with photoshop.
Canon 20D dSLR on a larger heli. Quality is extrememly good and can control exposure settings much better than on the LX1. Hoping to get a 5D real soon...

That is a very nice setup Tonystott.
This set-up will be used on a Raptor 30 for now but will upgrade in the near future.
Keep the posts coming I appretiate all thoughts

Using a Canon 350D (rebel XT) with the 18-55 kit lens. Takes some great photographs with real good color.

I'm using a Canon S80 and a Nikon D70. Both work a treat!
