I am trying to find out what HS and pitch ranges everyone is running.

On my Ion I'm currently running 1840 rpm nominal hs with +/- 11 deg pitch and flat 100% throttle curves (to make my secondary gear last). When the belt drive option comes out I'll look at upping the hs to 1900-2000, by trying different belt pully options.

I sure liked 11/11 range with a Headspeed of 2125 myself, I like it snappy though myself. :)

1800 with +-13. Tried it for the first time yesterday and LOVE it. Controllable Power at its best!! POWER BABY!! 10:1 Gearing.

hey , well I still like dang near wide open , but last year , I set up my helis with a curve on the schulze 100 95 100 in idle 1 , idle 2 100 100 100 , and then tinkered with that setting alittle , year before that , I even went down as low as 100 85 100 a few times , that setting didnt go to well with a 10X , motor would rev up swapping full collectives , 14 mz came around , and could really mess with the curve with the schulze , with a 5 point curve , 100 95 88 95 100 with the 95 real close to the 100. worked out great and a curve. thats what Bert had at IRCHA. this year , I do want to use just a gov , CC and the new kontronics 63 volt esc should make me happy at around 88%
