Ok so im building my first 700N and just got started on the main head assembly. My concern is that one blade grip doesn't move as smoothly as the other side. If double and triple checked everything. Is is sometime common for this to occur? Should i be concerned about the resistance the servos may get from it? Its not bad just doesn't really move as freely as the other. Any help much appreciated. Thank you

It happens everytime I rebuild the head after a crash. If you take an allen key and insert it on the smooth side spindle bolt. Smack it against the workbench or take a mallet and tap the allen key while holding the head in your hand it will move the spindle over enough to make it smooth.

What I have found is that even with the spindle lubed in the dampers, it is very tight.

Try it and you may be suprised.;)

after a few flights it should smooth out.

its like brand new K&B dampners, it takes a few flights for them to break in.

Be aware that the plastic bushings that go in there are/have a cam type design and if you don't get that clocked right it won't go in.

Take it apart and make sure those inserts are clocked correctly.
