Sorry to hear about your incident Fredrik.

Weird not to have to reverse the Throttle Channel, guess I been flying Futaba too long. ;)

Hello all,

Please take into consideration that we have not been able to test whether this new Spectrum system will actually work with the V-Bar. We have ordered one, and will test it. As Mikado, we strongly recommend not to use the Spectrum system with V-Bar at this time.

Of course we are also excited about this new radio.

Best regards

No issues when I tried it today (except the things that was my own fault)

I know you cant compare it to the 14MZ which is in a different class, even the 9303 is in a different class...But since it has been a VERY long time since I had a radio in the same class, here is my pointers.

- Pots in the sticks arent as exact, If I put my ESC to arm at bottom stick, sometimes it wont arm, I need to up the stick and firmly press it towards the bottom.

- Timer, I rather had the timer on a switch then on the control-display, easy to forget, and hard to notice when you fly...

- Im working on a "balance" mod, which will allow the neckstrap to adjust to the "tail" of the radio, this could have been standard.

- Even if its the "heli" version you can still feel the ratches on the throttle, I will mod it so its completly smooth, but that could have been done in factory...

- Switch layout is "wrong" what I am used to (european version of JR and futaba has different, TH on the left, Idle up on the right), I can mod it, would have been a heck easier though if the cables was a tad longer...

- Manual could cover some more stuff (binding, re-bindning etc)

One real issue though

Radio on at all time, shutdown power on the heli (replaced battery), in with a new battery and powered up, however the radio/receiver didnt connect (I guess), so heli never armed, had to re-start the system (radio and heli) to get it to arm.
Just felt "unsafe", getting the thought, what if that happens in the air.
Feels a bit "microsoft" over it, "Reboot the system and your fine"

Hello,

Finally got to try out the AR7000 in my Vbar Logo 10 yesterday and it worked great. Got 60+ paces in the range check :)

It was pretty cold yesterday (-5 C) - seems that both the Vbar and the DX7/AR7000 works well in the cold. No issues with the AR7000 and Vbar either.

It felt a bit twitchy compared to the old JR9X transmitter, so it will take a few more flights to get comfortable with it. Here is a video of the second flight yesterday:

The Logo 10 sure flies great with the Vbar!!
