View Full Version : WHERE ARE THE #@% RAZORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still waiting for parts :arggg: , this is frustrating everytime I ask I get the same response "waiting for parts a few more weeks".
It's christmas and we still don't have an ETA.
MA are you listening ?????????????????? You're loosing potential buyersthat are getting other helis , I don't want to argue if yours is better than X heli , I simply want a Razor as I want other helis but I'm really tired of waiting , a few weeks then a few more weeks then a few more weeks and same old story .................................................. ................

I don't think there is a definitive date on the Aurora either is there?
At least it's not like waiting for the N9, that took like 2 years....

man i reckon these companies should keep these things under wraps until its All ready to ship then take the helis out to show em off, then put em on the market,
then u wouldn't have people like epc2 going off their rocker.

When did the Razor first show up? Birmingham this year, as a prototype model?
It's only been like 9 months, I'd say that's doing pretty good.

Word is they will ship within the week, minus canopies which are still being molded..

I don't think its unrealistic to show a model 6-9 months before production to gain interest - release tech. data regarding setups during the interim ramp up to production and then ship production. After all, think about the learning curve we have gained by listening to all the test pilots/reps. on this board. I mean, now when I get my Razor - I won't have to go through try this/change that scenario that I have encountered with other brands (and as we know, that SAVES ME A BOAT-LOAD OF MONEY). Currently, I know the motor/esc and batteries that will be used in my Razor and also know that the setup should work for a while, before I need to/want to make any changes. The biggest advantage of how miniature has marketed this heli. coupled with tech. data on the forum is the guessing game has been removed - thanks to MA and everyone on this board who has shared all their valuable test data - much apprecaited.
I am cool with the wait,
Jeff

Yes ClayK is correct. It was only about the second week in March 06 that the first Razor was put together. It was not even a flying model it was just a concept model to see if it would work. The Razor ( MX 600E) was displayed publically the weekend of the Birmingham event March 18-20th 2006. The first flying model didn't fly till around the first of April 06 by a few of the MA team pilots. So I would think 9 months is not unreasonable to wait for a release from drawing board to retailer.

I don't mind waiting, as long as the finished product is well designed, durable. Held together with nuts and bolts, not sheet metal screws that strip out the first time you rebuild.
