I have ordered a head for my X5, they will be in stock again next week. I am running the old conversion kit for now, but couldn't resist the new cool head.
I use the BeastX unit, and I love it! Simple to setup and works perfect, have a go at it.

Not yet - Beastx are working on remote receiver support, but Spektrum will be released first

I'm pretty sure they are both coming (spektrum/futaba sattelite support) at the same time with some nice upgrades as I understand it. I also spoke with Susanna from gaui and they will have a fbl x5 available shortly.

pitchup.se lists the flybarred and the fbl version of the X5 for the same price.

That head looks different than the new x5 head coming out that Jack posted. That one looks more like an fb head modded to fbl.

Why is the FBL the same price as the FB? As Nexgen pointed out. Surely the FBL should be cheaper, as there are fewer components.

They'll be selling less of those; also, FBL is hot and they can ask more.

When I ordered mine I asked the same. Its because the new canopy is included, and that one is more expensive then the stock yellow one. So that is fair i guess...
And it comes with the new FBL head and shorter mainshaft.

Yeah, no stock here Mike, was browsing Infinity Hobby's site which had the bits in stock.
As I have an account setup with them, it seemed a shame not to! LOL!
