My buddy is getting into nitro heli's and bought a beginner Shuttle heli that was new in the box. A little older shuttle but not too old. It's not ccpm either. Anyway, Where can I send him to get the basics of throttle/pitch set up? I'm not the guy he should be asking so I figured I'd ask you fella's. He's a true beginner so if there is a site or thread he can visit That would be awesome. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.

try to get a local pilot with experience to look over the hei and set it up. that way he can have some one tell him what is being done and why.

I set up my EVO50 like this, with some good advice from experienced flyiers in this forum, probably he should try to get it similar to start with. If pitch range is not able to do -11 to 11, then you have to adapt the % to get the indicated deg of pitch.

You need to know if it's a Shuttle or Shuttle Sceadu
The original Shuttle was a 30 size hei
and should only use -9 to +9 pitch
so the motor is not over worked

You should read the manual and ask questions
