The CX2 is on 2.4 ghz spread spectrum2. I'm not sure if that frequency is able to be used in the UK, but I would think so. The original CX could be converted by a radio tech who knew what he was doing. I'm afraid the CX2 could not be converted.

Well I've ordered a BCX2 from Readyheli anyway. 2.4Ghz technology is used in UK for wireless video games controllers (in particular the aftermarket 'MadCatz' devices for Playstation and xbox) - so it must be legal to use and its all short range stuff anyway. I wouldn't have got it if it had been on 72MHz.
The CoAx helis all seem to be fairly similar in performance as far as I can tell from vids, but the BCX (now CX2) looks like the best of the bunch for stability and gyro issues - easily worth paying the shipping for. Only pain is the charger will be on 110V input, but I'll prolly convert the Lipos to charge from my Cellpro 2-4s balancing charger. Can't wait to try landing on every flat surface in the house
