First I'd like to thank all the "helifreaks" for all the information they've provide via their post and responses, and special thanks to finless for all the videos. I am in the process of building my TREX 450 SE. This is going to be a slow process since I have not purchased all the electronics yet but I plan to use HS65MGs for the collective and a HS81 for the tail. I plan on using a Berg 7P with my Futaba 7CAP (I've been flying planks for about 2 years). My concern is with the gyro, I've be playing with G2 flying the Impala 30 with training gear and don't think it has a HH gryo. While hovering is harder, forward flight seems easier (tail follows). I tried another heli on the sim yesterday that did have a HH gyro and found ff harder. So the question is... How important is it to have a gyro like a GY401 where the gain can be adjusted from the radio versus a GY240 ?

Thanks

With the Gy401 all gain adjustments are done via your tx, wherea's the 240 has to be adjusted manually. Land-adjust-take off-land adjust-takeoff! For me it is easier with the 401, any adjustments needed are quick & easy to make for any flying style/mode. :D

Also, you dont have to leave the 401 in HH mode.
