I'm thinking about taking the plunge into nitro but I'm not sure what model I want yet. It will either be a raptor 50 or a gohbee 50. I'm leaning toward the raptor because of part support and the available help with this model. I have a blade cp and a Trex 450 xl and I want something that I can fly at the club and see better at the field.
Well, my initial question was how do you guess like your gohbee 50? Are the part availability any better? Is it a decent model? I have heard some good things and some bad things so I'm just curious. If you had it to do over again would you buy the same model?
The price seem to be pretty good so I was wondering about quality. If you own both model what are your likes and dislikes about both?
Thanks alot for any helpful information you can give me. I've notice that it is not alot of forum activity here or any place else about gohbee so I don't know if that is a good thing.

I've got the Stinger 50 & I have to say for the price its a pretty decient heli. Setting it up is a breeze (pretty much same as a raptor) As for ability the model flys excellent and is very capably of 3D. I would say other than a little difference in the head there isnt much difference in them & the Raptor.
As for parts (I havent had to buy many!) I havent had any problems getting what I have needed. Every once in a while David at Gohbee has a few things backordered but it usually dosent take very long. He's a great guy & very willing to talk to you about anything with his product.

I just bought a Stinger 50 and currently have been flying the raptor 50, the stinger is quick to assembly, very straight forward and seems to be very solid. When you need something, David will talk to you until he answers all your questions. And when I order something, it is always at my house in 2 days. I ordered some parts 1 time over Thanksgiving and it took a little longer, but that is to be expected.
I dont think that you would go wrong with the Stinger 50. If you have all your parts you can have the heli flying it 1 day easy.
Hope this helps!!

I have taught a good number of students on the 50 and I must say that it is the easiest to build and fly trainer i have ever taught with its a rock in the air in the standard set up, change the paddles to some lightweight ones and you have a real nice 3d bird, I have had students learn to hover and do loops and rolls and never buy the first part, its not cuz of the instuctor its all in the way this heli flies,

I'm one of the students Dean is referring to. I can't do loops or rolls yet, but I love the TZ 50. Good to see you are still alive.
