The new Hacker motors on Logo 14s'....discussion

Well I have on route a A50-16S "10 pole" to try out @ 490kv, I plan on running same pinion as Matt B the 18 tooth. Anyhow got to thinking about the 14S version "10 pole" @ 550kv. I think the 14S may be a better solution actually being that you could run a slightly smaller mod .7 pinion say a 16 or 17tooth and not have to bore out a 18T, or you are actually within the mod 1.0 range to use a 12 tooth mod 1.0 pinion and get in the 2175-2220 range at 75% on either a Jazz or CC esc etc.....

Just a thought, wonder if anyone has tried the 14S on a Logo 14?, it may be a slightly better option than the 16S in regards to gearing....

Why would you need to bore out a mod .7 pinion? Mikado makes an 18t mod .7, I have one on my tango right now.

because the shaft on the Hackers is 6mm is why...

Good luck with your trial, let us know how it goes. I have been trying to decide between these and a z-power for my second logo so I will keep an eye on your report. I was not aware that the 10 poles were available yet, is it a production model?

Espirit sells them yes. As well ReadyHeli has them to.
