Since the DX7 is really a JR chassis I thought I'd post it here...
It appears there are only 2 options for the gyro gain on the DX7:
1. assign it to the rudder D/R switch
2. use an "auto" setting where the D/R changes with flight mode.
I would prefer to have manual control over the gyro gain with a separate switch (like option 1), but the rudder D/R switch is what I want use for my throttle hold switch. The DX7 will allow me to assign TH to the rudder D/R switch, but hitting TH to change the gyro gain obviously doesn't work.
Since this radio does have 3 flight modes (Normal, Idle1 and Idle2), I guess I could make 2 of the modes the same except for the gyro gain, but I would still prefer to just have a separate switch for gyro gain and use the rudder D/R for throttle hold. Seems silly I can't do that given this thing has switches all over it!
