Hi there,

First of all would like to say hi to everybody, as this is my first thread. ....but I have been an interested reader of very helpfull information in this forum!!

Now to my question:
I have bought a JR 9X II radio (I think it is equivalent to the 9303 sold in the US) and I would like to allocate functions to the different switches. Is it possible to allocate the functions freely or is there a pre-setup which cannot be changed? How can I, for example, allocate the throttle to one of the switches on the right or left side of the radio ("turn-switch")?
If not, what are they for at all?

Thanks and best regards from Austria
Thomas

Extract from Page 8 of the Heli section of the manual

"Switch Assignments
The PCM9X II provides the ability to change the
standard default switch assignments for THRO Hold,
PIT Trim, GEAR, AUX2, AUX3, and AUX4. Changing
the assignments may be a matter of preference or to
help overcome a disability in one hand. In any event,
the standard switch assignments may be changed in
Devic.SEL function contained in the SYSTEM Menu.
To change one or more switch assignments:
1. From within the Devic.SEL function, use the Selector
to highlight and select THRO HOLD, PIT Trim,
GEAR, AUX2, AUX3, or AUX4 along the top line of
the display.
2. Once a switch is selected, a list of available
replacement switches is displayed. Highlight and
select the desired switch with the Selector.
3. Repeat for as many switches as desired."

The switches at the sides are for aux channels by default. I use the one on the right for camera tilt :)

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your help. I have tried that of course in the first place (even if it does not sound like, but I read the manual  ), but I did not succeed to put the throttle to the slider on the right side!! :arggg:

The slider on the right is - if I remember correctly - the Aux 3 and somehow I could not allocate the throttle to this slider!

Do you have any idea what I did wrong?

Thanks
Thomas

I checked it again:

you have 4 options for Aux3
Aux3 lev.
pit. lev.
Aux2 sw.
Fl.mode sw. (if I remember correctly)

But there is no option for throttle....
Do I have to allocate throttle to Aux3 in the menu " Prog. Mix" first?

I still miss the logic how to allocate the functions.... :arggg:

Thanks Thomas
