Anyone know when its going to be released?
Id love to have that instead of the laptop at the field.

They have been released! I was at IRCHA last week and they were all over the place! A lot of vendors had them and I also saw a few birds with them on board. Also saw Curtis at the Nats, of course using one.
Not the Total-G, I know its released as I have one and flew it at IRCHA.
I'm talking about the G-View 2 programmer so I dont need to use my computer to change settings.

is the total g compatible with the regular g-view? i've got a g-view already and a total g thats about to take my vbars spot.

Ooppps... My bad. But, I thought I saw one of those also at one of the vendors stands... but I didn't zero in on it.

We had the prototype at IRCHA for people to look at. That might be the one you saw. They have not come in yet, but are expected any day now. We should see them soon. I beleive we also have more Total-G's on the way to us. So the dealers should see more very soon.

Any idea if anybody has Gview2 available for pre-order at any of the online shops or are we best to wait till it's stocked?
The totalG's are flowing through esprit right now. ordered this friday and there only $390 shipped. I pre-ordered another unit in state and it was $440 and change... still not shipped

Is the new Gview2 backward compatible with the current Gview products(i.e. will it work with a Solid-g and ATGv3)?

I have the G-View and the G-View 2. The G-View 2 works for the mini G, the Sold G and the Total G with only one exception: The button feature will not work with the Solid G. You can still use it as a standard G-View with the Solid G. I spoke to CJY to confirm this.
