RC Shop in Jakarta

I have just moved to Jakarta a few weeks ago. Now I am looking for RC shop in Jakarta, especially shop which sales Thunder Tiger. I have found a small shop in Plaza Samanggi, but they do not have the items I needed.

So, may I have your recommendation about RC shop in Jakarta. It gonna be very nice, if the shop locate near to Kemang area.

I dont recall any RC shop that sell Thunder Tiger here in Jakarta. Probably because the Align is more popular and well supported here. btw, where do you usually fly?

Thank so much for your reply. Basically I am flying in Thailand and I have just moved to Jakarta a few weeks ago. I am now looking for folks to fly together or joint the club. However, I still do not know anything much about JKT. Can you recommend me any airfield or club where I can joint?

As for Helicopter, if JKT is dominated by Align, I shall go back home during Hari Raya and of course I bring along my TREX. Not certain whether I can find any spare part of Mikado Logo in JKT.

My nephews might really like RC helicopters; would anyone mind giving me a list of a few shops in Jakarta that have helis and spare parts (particularly any of the ultra-micro sizes), regardless of brand?

Although I don't technically live there anymore, I always try to keep up with the rc scenes there. try e-hely.com, they've got a storefront retail shop at ITC Kuningan, Jakarta. Hopefully some of the guys from Jakarta/Indonesia will chime in and add some more useful info.:lol:

hey guys thanks for the info here, I just arrived in JKT with my FPV quad copter, didnt bring a LIPO charger but now I know where to get one and Im going in the morning :peace

Anyone know where I can get a Gopro repaired? Mine wont power up :( or where I can buy the 960 version from? I been 2 half a dozen camera shops but they dont stock them. :dontknow

There are 2 retailers in JKT and 2 in Bali, neither of the shops in JKT stock the new gopro2 and both of them want the full price for the original gopro 3,250,000RP even though gopro lists it at $200 retail for the naked version.

I chasing up a lead on a used one now for 2,200,000rp trying to keep costs down as mine own gopro 960 will be repaired under manufacturers warranty when i get back to the UK in January. But I need one in the mean time as I bought my FPV multicopter here to shot some interesting video!

The guys @ e-heli @ ITC Kunningham are cool guys, they have some nice heli's there amd even a bunch of multicopters one with a DJI Wookong :noteworthy:thumbup:


Edit : seems like since my wifes telephone call with bhinneka yesterday they have now listed the gopro 2 as coming into stock soon!
