Hi Everybody,
Clint got some killer swash leveling tool at IRCHA, but he does not remember the guys name that was selling them. They are white in color.
Anybody know where they came from??
Thank you in advance!!

It works well- it is a little hard to see the gap because it is white. I am going to take a black marker to mine.

That looks a bunch like the swash leveling tools that Mike Trueblood had made up. You might want to shoot him an e-mail at SMACombat@cinci.rr.com

Actually Mike Trueblood makes them, and I think Dave Delong distributes them for Mike. You might try shooting Dave an e-mail and see if he has any, if i remember correctly he had a dozen or so last time i saw him.

Trust me these things are worth their weight in gold... I have one for the evo's and one for the Extreme. beats the old bubble level method!! :D

Matt,
Suggest to Mike or Dave to have them made from black Delrin. It is a lot easier to see gaps between the swashplate and the gauge with black. Nice looking design.

David...i'll forward that suggestion to Dave, if it makes the product easier to use im sure he will look into it.
Hey Guys,
Sorry for a late response on the Swash Alignment Tools, I have been very busywith work. Right now I am out of the tools for CCPM but do have ones for 90 degree or non CCPM. I talked to Mike Trueblood today for another shipment of them. Since this post started, I have sold out. (Gee, darn, rats, hehe.) I should have some more very soon. And am looking in to making them black, great suggestion Dave, thanks. I will keep all posted. Thanks all for your responses. You can email me at gyro2448@yahoo.com or ddullong@columbus.rr.com

Looks like a great tool! Curious though, as to why there are two versions available? Is there a different way to use this level vs. something like the standard MA tool?

ScotY,
There's a 90 degree option which is for use on helis with swash plates that have 4 points, i.e. Raptor, Evo, Freya, x-spec. The second one is for use on CCPM machines, more specifically the Fury series.
The problem with the MA tool is they arent perfectly flat, and the hole drilled through the center is not machined to a tight tolerance. So when u tighten down the nylon nut it tilts the MA tool. And so your forced to check a swash plate at all three points.
The tool that Dave has is machined to a tight tolerance but will still slide on the main shaft fairly easily. Plus its machined flat so you can check all your points at once and not have to keep going from one point to the next.
