The locked in signal led's on the RX(s) and the green on the TX should not be on while it is searching for channels, etc. I believe there is more of a problem unfortunately. :(
I am running Radix 92mm tail blades. There is no binding or slop the Logo is super fine when it comes to that, it is smooth as silk.
Interesting info, I am good with 29% then, no problem.

I'll be calling Horizon on Monday to see what is up. Definitely does not inspire a lot of confidence in the radio.

Not yet Will i actually picked up a Ar6000 rx today( 6channel) flew it in one of machines it worked flawless i have 2 of the 7channels coming just wanted to try a 6 channel to see if it would work!!
Iam curious Will has it done it again? or just the once?
Put 6 more flights on my L10 with the Ar 7000rx man iam loving it iam going to go on the limb and say I dont think there is any E machine that has the Bang for the buck like the L10 carbon wiht the Spectrum in it on 6s Evo 3700 packs!!!!!!!! :glasses2:

Glad to here you are liking the DX-7. It has only done it one time, although since MrMel's has too, I figure it may happen to more. Hopefully it will not happen again. I plan to get at least 4 flights on the Logo 14 tomorrow, it is all charged and ready now. I am really liking this machine, it is fun to fly.

I flew more today and no more trouble like that. I read that thread. I am not running a BEC, I am running a 2s EVO 20 1800 RX pack and Duralite 6V regulator with 5.3 stepdown to the 611.

I'll be going back to the field tomorrow for sure, so if it happens again, I'll have the video camera to film it.

This happened to me today one thing i did observe was if the throttle stick wasnt completley down it would do it..
We were discussing it and must be a safety feature my guess is it wont transmit if the throttle stick is any were above the set Failsafe position which mine is all the way closed
JUST MY 2 CENTS
I flew 5 times today wiht 0 issues

I think you are right! It happened to me yesterday too when connecting my L10 - nothing happened until I the collective stick all the way down. Interesting...

WOW seems to be happening to a lot of people. My throttle stick was down when it happened to me. I do NOT think this is a safety feature.
On the main forum you can see where Big Al had the same problem as us yesterday. Definitely something going on. :( Again, I do not think this is planned or a safety feature.

A certain movie comes into mind.
"Do you feel lucky, Punk"
everytime you start your heli :)

I really think this is an issue with the 'SmartSafe' binding procedure, and not a bug in the system. It has happened to me at the field, and I just made sure the throttle stick was completely closed and it connected perfectly.
I'll try to do some bench tests with David later today...

Hmm, Horizon's first response over at RCUniverse was "Dont know, should not happen.."
Bummer, I had hoped for "It happens because of..."

Will is right. I powered up the AR7000 with the throttle in mid position and it worked fine :dontknow

Just a thought, because I haven't had a problem yet!!, make sure your throttle is in lowest position when binding, so failsafe can properly read that setting. Mine has worked flawlessly so far, and I love the system, sure hope there isn't a problem..... :)

gordohigh, Yeah, that could be it!
When it happened I had "wrong" failsafe.
Lorents & Will, have you rebind yours since you setup the radio completly?

Are we talking about the digital trim "throttle" or the stick itself?
MrMel

In my case, stick it self, you really have to jam it down..
Lorents

Hei Fredrik,
I havent re-bound the rx after setting the heli up, but it shouldnt be necessary since the throttle fail safe was ok right from the beginning.
Do you have to jam the stick down to bind the receiver or to arm the ESC?
I just copied the settings from my 9X and it seems to work ok, but there is a slight difference in the max/min values sendt from the 9X and the DX7. Might be a good idea to reprogram the Jazz controller so that it will learn new max/min positions...

On mine the sticks arent exact, so I need to push the throttle down firmly to get real "zero"
