Flight wise you guys are liking the Dx7?

Compared to the 14MZ, no :)
I can live with it until XPS might release their system

Compared to the 9X, yes definately :)

I only have a few flights on it so far, but really like it. The DX7 casing looks and feels cheap but the sticks feels great. Compared to the old 9X the speed difference made the Logo 10 feel somewhat nervous in hover but I will hopefully get used to that. I put an AR6000 in my trex, just jammed the rx between the motor and gyro. It would mean a certain death if I tried that with a PPM receiver, but it worked great here. No glitching and great range :D

Speaking of failsafe...

How do you setup the pitch setting for zero degrees and still get the throttle to cut? Weird failsafe setup. Can I out it in hold with left stick centered then re-bind to get:

Cyclic to zero, collective to zero, throttle to cut.

How did you guys do this?

Its only throttle that have a pre defined fail safe position.
The other channels will stay in whatever position they where when the connection was lost. Strange that they dont allow pre defined positions on all channels :dontknow

Really? You cant set positions in fail safe for other channels? Thats kind of scary...

OK got mine setup and re-bound to have throttle low. Kinda scary, but the thing flys pretty good in the air.

Check out this video my flying buddy made where he compares the servo movements using his old 9C and the DX7. This is on a raptor 50 that doesnt even have eCCPM:

Wow Lorents I had no idea it would be that noticeable till now...

I'm curious though whether it would be noticable in flight. I'd love to see a double blind test by a hot 3D pilot, with all other things being equal.
