Default manual missing part dimension?

I flew my 550 for the first time yesterday and the aileron bellcrank fell off. I lost the bearing and the aluminumspacer in the bellcrank. the manual on page 9, shows a dimension for the long spacer on the left side of the frame-(3 x 4.5 x 9.5 mm) but theres no dimension for the short spacer in the aileron bellcrank. Does anyone know how long the short spacer is?
And what does it do, my local hardware store didnt have metric or any small aluminum spacers so I got a nylon one in standard size thats really close to the stock one so I may try that.

Thanks, these small metric standoffs/spacers seem hard to find. For now I think ill use the standard nylon one since its close. the spacers seem to just support the inner races on the bellcrank bearing.

Thats all it does, nylon might wear out faster, but it will work.

Was it in flight?
That's very interesting. How could it fall off?
Is the the screw at the end of the elevator shaft came off?

I flew my maiden flight on a used bird. It started piro flipping on its own on the 3rd battery. Tip- always reloctite every bolt on a used bird The other bellcrank wasnt loctited either. Maybe flybarred makes vibes in a different range than flybarless and thats why it fell off on me even though it was flown by the previous owner.

The bearing in my aileron bellcrank was not loctited correctly by the factory and that was in a new kit. Luckily enough, that bearing fell off on the table while I was building the kit and I fixed it with green loctite 609. Guess what would have happened had it came loose in flight. Unfortunately for him, sv flyer knows the answer now. Always double check whatever comes assembled by someone else, be that the factory or a previous owner!

It doesn't have to be the screw. If the bearing in the bellcrank gets loose, the elevator shaft screw is rendered useless.

Thats how I was able to get the dimension for sv flyer, mine is still unbuilt, and the bearing just came right out of the bell crank.

Im confused. The bearing doesnt spin, its just a light duty pivot bearing. IF its kinda loose, which mine still are, its not gonna eat up the metal bellcrank. But loctite green is a good idea. My problem was the screw came undone and the whole bellcrank arm came off.
