Ok I went to Heli Direct and Bought the Aluminum Head System then went and Bout the Mainshaft Landing gear cause the Stock mainshaft kept slipping when i got to the point where it was going to start to Hover.
So I knw have a Mainshaft But i do not know which way the Shaft goes in nor where the one way Bearing thing sits(On top or Below the gear toothed ring.
Thanks

one way sits below. think about it. if it was on top, the spur gear would just fall off...
on hdx the shaft goes so grove closest to end, with another right near it are on the bottom. i think that shaft is longer then you need it, so try using the 2nd grove from the bottom for the main gear? just guessing here...
personally i would suggest investing in a good set of tools. i have metric and standard set of Waha (sp?) hex wrenches. it just happens that the set screw driver is both metric and standard size, so with two drivers i can tighten both set screws at the same time. most of the time i use regular shafts (or cdrom guide rail rods which are same size), and never had a problem with stripping the screws or the set screws letting go...
best way is to file a flat spot, but i'm too lazy... which means then i have to file off the damage the set screw did before it'll pull out through the bearings.. but like i said, never had a set screw let go or strip with the right tool. i have the hdx silver button head with loops (not tx).
