Questions about the e-station bc8 charger can anyone help?

I bought the e-station bc8 charger, can anyone tell me if it automatically shuts off or beeps when the battery is done charging? I have a T-rex and this is my first heli and first experience with this hobby.

Hi Myke,

Yes, when the charge is completed, the unit will terminate the charge and beep several times if you have the buzzer turned on. The buzzer can be turned off and on, on the is the default and is accessible through the User Setup Menu.

The charger is designed to charge 1 battery at a time. You can wire 2 packs together and increase the cell/voltage count on the charger. I have never done this so I cannot recommend it. People have and you can search various forums for that information.

What AMP should I charge my batteries at? I have the 3s 11.1v 2200mah Lipo for the trex 450se. Thanks

Most li-po manufacturers suggest a max charge rate of 1C so in this case 2.2 amps.
