Looks cool, I will mostlikely get one since I was looking for a Trex to go with my titan and why not get its smaller brother?

Gotta ask, does any one have information on the motor that comes with two of the kits and the ESC? You know some kind of specs? I know the motors are hard to rate between companies but I will take what ever specs they give.

It has to be just me, but I think it looks almost as ugly as the Swift. The design is terrible.

Everyone seems to love it for some reason. :dontknow

Yea it is not near as "pretty" but it aint going to be to "pretty" after I get done flying (crashing) it. Na I am just messing around I just got a Titan Nitro and 1 full gallon through it and not a problem yet even with a TT 50 in it. I read some horror stories about it and so far it is ok. How often should I rebulid it if I want to do PM on the motor?

I flew the TT50 for about 3 months before the bearings shattered. Then I got a Hyper and it's been running perfect for over a year.

I don't know why everyone has to bash this heli's looks. Must be jealousy. I think it is one fine looking heli. Much nicer than a T-Rex.

Not bashing Swat, I just don't like the design. Why you bashing mine?

Think you guys are not looking closely enough. While I can agree the canopy is not to everyones taste its what's under the skin that counts and frankly from what I see, design wise, this blows the Trex450 away

Hi Scott,

Might I ask why you feel the design is horrible?

Here's what I've found: The battery tray is positioned to provide a higher CG, the frame is designed in modules which makes it extremely easy to work on, the tail control bell crank is supported very well (top and bottom), the CCPM makes for a lighter heli (which is very important on the small models), and there is enough room throughout the heli to comfortably mount all of your electronics.

Looks awesome!! IF i can ever save up enough, I'll get one, but for now I can always find something on my 90se that I'd rather buy!

Hi, I have a question since I don't know anything about Lipos (either).
If I buy this heli (which I think it works with lipos)
Would I be ok charging them with a Triton charger or do I need to buy another especific charger for it????
I would like to have a second heli, I was thinking something like this that I could fly on the backyard, but if I need a bunch of new especific equipment for it, then I'm in the same boat as bgjames, I rather invest in the nitro I already have.
Thanks for any replies,

Hey ferincr if this is you charger then yes

Great PlanesŪ Triton DC Computerized Peak Charger

Battery Types, # of cells: 1-24 Nickel-Cadmium cells (1.2- 28.0VNiCd)
1-24 Nickel-Metal Hydride cells (1.2-28.0V NiMH)
1-4 Lithium-Ion or Lithium-polymer cells (3.6 - 14.8V Li-Ion/Li-Po)
3, 6, 12 Lead-Acid cells (6, 12, 24V Pb)

If this is not your what is the model number?

That's the one, when you say yes do you mean yes it'll work or yes I need a different one?

Sorry about that I put all of the batteries that it will charge under battery types and Lithium-polymers is under the battery types so that means it will charge LiPo's. You should be good to go except for a RX 6ch, ESC around 35 amp, Servos 4 total, Gyro, Brushless motor and a couple of batteries at 50 to 75 each. I am sure that I am missing something but just can't think of it.
I have the ICE charger something liek what you have and I LOVE it, I am getting a Trex 450SA (getting a deal) but I would rather go with one of these since I have a Titan.
MAKE SURE you read the directions to your charger and know how to set it up for LiPo's. They can be very dangerous.

Yes, I'm quite familiar with the charger and Nicd and Nimh. I had read a bit about lithium but never got into details about them (since I don't have any yet) that's why I asked about the charger. I know it' good for charging Lipo butI'm not sure about LIion (neither the tech differences between them) There's seems to be a lot of gadgets for the lithium users, I've seen something about a cell balancer (or something like that) and I don't really know how essential that is (or if the Triton has it already included in it (which I don't think so).
I just refuse to get into electrics (if I need to buy all those things). I'm ok buying servos and RX's that might be used in any model but since I started this year with the nitro it's a big dump of cash to get all the field eq.plus accessories and if I need to buy another bunch of eq. for an electric it will put me off.

This is only from what I understand so please do the research on what I am saying and double check me, if you see something wrong just let me know I don't mind being corrected. The Blancer is to make sure that the voltage in each cell is the same voltage, it has a wire going to each battery and when you plug it in to a blancer it will read the first second and third cell and make sure all of then are the same. If I am correct they are 3.7 volts and you should not go below 3v (I think I am worng with this voltage but I am close well anyway you have 3 of these in series it make 11.1v and you should not run them dead. There is a C rating this lets you know how much amperage the motor can draw from the pack there is 3C 10C and 12C 16C 20C 25C what you have to do is take the amperage and do some math so it will tell you what the packs out put can be. I have been reading and I don't understand it much but this is what I have grasped.

newbie, thanks for taking your time reducing my ignorance.
I will read a bit more on lithium batteries/accessories before I commit.
I won't take any more time from you until I decide if electric is a possibility.
Thanks again,

no problem. I only wish I could help more. I was just trying to find good priceing for liPo and I am finding then for around 50ish for 20C 2000 mah 11.1v its good if the battery does what it says. Have a good Christmas and be good you never know what you will get.....

Basically, this heli is the same size and about the same weight as a T-Rex, and also runs 3-cell lithium batteries. Therefore any battery the T-Rex folks like will be good for the E325 as well, presuming it physically fits in the frame... and it looks like the E325 has more room than a T-Rex, so that probably won't be a problem.
