My LHS is indicating that Futaba plans to release their bid into the spread spectrum market around springtime. I have the 9CHPS radio and have decided not to jump on the DX7 bandwagon. Feature wise, the DX7 is a sizeable step backwards from my 9C.

Does anyone have any inside information as to what they plan to release? Will there be a SS module for the 9C? What type of receivers might they be bringing out? I'm hoping for some tiny receivers compatible with foamy aircraft.

Here's hoping!

Check it for what. Seems to be the same as always.

I agree. So far it's amounted to "vaporware". I'm still not comfortable with the little stubby antenna protruding from the rear of the transmitter, range wise. Since I have a radio that's upgradeable, I thinks it's prudent to wait until all of the players have laid their cards down.

I hope futaba comes out with module for the 14MZ. I will hate to use a different brand module on my futaba radio.
