put the 550's on the Logo 10 today and wow. Hovered at about 3° pitch unloaded  I haven't put the long boom on yet so I couldn't fly too hard without creating kissing cousins with the main/tails but I can tell already that this ship is gonna haul the A640 with wide lens just fine!
I also put an FM RX on with a full length antenna and plan to do some more tests at a cell tower site.
hey... anyone have a set of 550's woodies (12/4/4) that they wanna part with for super cheap??? I don't want to do this cell tower testing with blades worth more than $20.

tower has some cheaper woodies. I got some century ones for about 20 bucks a set.

had a hair-brained idea today..... strap the GS300 with wide converter to my front mount of the Logo 10. Keep in mind, this mount was designed around still shooting but I'm so impressed with the results that I'm going to modify the mount to keep the camera more stable.
With the 550's and FlightPower 5s6600 pack this thing has plenty of power to carry the weight. My front mount on this heli is about 8 oz. if I remember corectly. I just need to track my blades and keep the gimbal from swinging in the roll axis and this could be a damn fine little video bird for semi-professional type shoots

made a quick change to reduce the swinging of the gimbal.

Just curious. How windy is it in those last two videos?
Still can't believe you fly over your neighborhood like that.

winds were about 5-7 mph. I fly in neighborhoods at least 2 or 3 times week. Nothing different about my neighborhood.
