My motor for my Logo 14 is finally on the way. An Orbit 30-12 as perescribed by many here.

I will be using the Hacker Master 77-O-Heli

Any idea what motor timing should be set to for the Orbit?

So no suggestions on what timing I should set in the Hacker ESC for the Orbit 30-12 motor?

Bob,

I have no clue however I can tell you they are very fast and freindly to answer questions such as these. I only ever used a Jazz with the Orbit. Here is the email to ask them, I am certain they will tell you optimum range. My guess is 8-10 degrees.

Here is email

Shawn, I got a reply from Plettenberg but it is a little unclear. My Hacker ESC did not come with instructions explaining this as they said in the Email below.

The Email I got is below. Do I assume they want me to set the Hacker ESC to 30 or to 4? Sorry but this is confusing.

Bob

Dear Bob,
the orbit 30-12 is a 10 pole motor. You will find the timing in the instruktion manual of the controller.
You have to use "step 4" means 30°

Best regards
