Wait until you guys get a look at Gary Travis' new front mounted turbine camera ship, WOW. The turbine cameraship is a monster alongside his Intrepid Turbine. The front mount he has designed is nothing short of perfection. Although he had it installed on the giant turbine it is modular and can be taken off in ten minutes and installed on any gasser. It*has gyro stabalization which is really cool. He did say he will have a smaller version soon for the nitro users. And the video coming off that sucker is clean! I got on my knees and begged for one, but right now Gary is testing the mount on his gassers as well as the smaller Intrepid turbine. I Hope he gets the testing done soon I WANT ONE.
Oh Yeah, as if that isn't cool enough, he also has an automatic on-board fire supression system on the turbine in case of a crash. Now that's SWEET!

Is this Gary's own creation, or is this the turbine with front mount that Chris Bergen was showing last week?

It is my own design, built for a specific purpose. As it sits right now it is modular and completely self contained, is will attach to any turbine or gasser helicopter. At present I have no plans to make more of them however who knows what will be in the future. As stated in the RR thread I am still testing the unit on various helicopters that I have.

Any chance you could post some airborne footage from this system?

I'm sure there will be some footage from it when the current weather system in UT clears out.

The weather is a factor, however as I stated I am still testing and I will post video when I feel like I am finished with RD. Keep in mind that the unit most likely will be propriatary to the work I am doing.
