new tail boom

just got my cb100 on wed and joined hf same day.broke tail boom wed night but thanks to the good folks here i was flying Thurs afternoon.

replaced boom tube with carbon rod from lhs. i ran wires outside in some hs tube.

great idea thanks to whoever posted it.

You will love the cb100 once you learn how to fly it. Now that you fix the boom. The boom is stronger than frame. Sometimes the frame will crack so you get some CA or better called super glue let cure for a few hours just in case. Have fun :thumbup:

Hi,
if you taped the wire on the boom, make sure the tail box won't fall in a crash or it will break the wire.

Some CA on the box or tape up to the middle of the boom may help.
