Hi all

I'm a newbie and am really struggling in programming the Futaba 9CAP for my Trex450CAP.

I changed the mode to SR-3 type for this heli

Here are the details:

1) The aileron stick moves the swashplate in correct direction (uses both the aileron and the pitch servo in opposite directions).

2) When I move the elevator stick, all three servos move. The elevator servo moves in the right direction, but I also observe movement of other two servos (albeit not as much as the elevator one). The result is that the swashplate does not tilt as much as it should. Is this correct?

3) When I move the throttle stick, the swashplate is supposed to move up and down (all 3 servos working in unison), but it does not as the elevator servo is moving in the wrong direction as the other two. The net effect is that swashplate is tilted.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried all sort of servo reversing, SWASH AFR etc, but can get it to work right.

Any help is really appreciated.

Thanks

Batty

Get all three servos moving the same direction with reversing the servos (the channel the servo is hooked up to) just using the collective stick.

Then use swash AFR to get the functions moving in the right direction, if you get all the to go down when you give up collective then change the +50 to -50 in the AFR menu for pitch.

Thanks a lot. That did it. Perfect.

One other question: Is it normal that only one rotor blade changes the pitch when collective stick is moved up/down? Its happening for my heli and seems kind of odd.

No its not normal, if you increase collective pitch they should both change pitch collectively. (neat eh)
