does it need a tail flip mod? if i still did it, what will happen?

The tail geometry is exactly the same as the previous versions of the Pro and the clones, so YES, you will benifit from the tail grip flip. I did it on my EXI450 Pro, my 450 Pro (Prev Version) and my 450 Pro Super Combo V3.
