I'm looking at HXT22003S hexTronik 2200mAh 3S 20-30C ,
Just on advertised capacity and price they look wonderful. When it's too good to be true it usually is. Anyone have first hand info on these?

I`ve been using one for several flights now.Seems to have that little bit of extra punch and duration as you might expect and it doesn`t get so hot.
BTW better that the three TP 2100`s I`m also using.
I`m going to order some more when they have them in back stock, in March I think.

I have one that I use and 2 FP 2170s and the Hexetronik is just as good.
Just as durable too... I can not tell any difference.
Just wish they were not on back-order.

I'm running four 3S 2250 Hextronix D9 packs (2200 ordered), as a 6S2P 4500mA on my Trex600. I made up a wiring harness using Deans plugs on the batteries/harness with the standard Align blue connector out.

Awesome pack. Using my low-volt alarm, sport flying (FF, a few loops and rolls), I get 8 minutes to 21v. 10:05 minutes to 20v. Only warm (30 deg C) when I stop at 21v and 45 deg C when I tookit to 20v.

It was under half the cost of the Align 4400 6S2P pack - much to the discust of my LHS and 20g heavier. :smokin:

I have been running 3 of the older packs, 1 x 3S 2250 12C/16C and 2 x 3S 2200 12C/20C. I have over 210 cycles across all 3 packs (the split is about 105 + 70 + 45). They are definitely not really powerful and go out of balance on every cycle. But all three have been crashed and bent without noticable change in performance. I am still just hovering and FF and don't demand much from my packs but I have been very happy with the experience. These packs are still going strong and I was able to get all three for little more than the price of a single premium pack at the time. I never needed the extra oomph of the premium pack and since I balance charge every time, the poorly matched cells don't matter.

hehe..old thread...based on KGfly's advice I did end up buying 2 packs (3s 2250's 20c/30c) for $32, no issues but I only hover atm.

Dunno!!!

I still haven't bought my new charger. I balance charge everytime as routine these days.

I've not had any issues. I use blinky for checking/balance and my packs have stayed in balance..keep in mind my lipo alarm goes off early at 3.2v per cell to give me time to land. So far I'm just hovering so I land pretty quickly.

My packs are balancing faster than my Evo FP packs. Go figure!!
Very happy with the Hex. packs.....a little :arggg: on the FP......not knocking them, but I am getting the same performance with the Hex. pack.

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of buying some of the 2200 20C packs. I am charging with a Triton using the TP 205 balancer.

Their website does not state what type of plug they are using for the balancing tap. Can you guys help me out in deciding what/ where I can get an adaptor cable/ plug for these?

Thanks!

I read somewhere that they use the same tap as the align batteries. I've got 3 on the way :) Who knows when they will actually arrive though

Assuming they ever get them back in. I want to order 3 for my Trex and have been checking the site every day. They were supposed to be in in the 12th but obviously didn't make it. They have over 300 on back order the last time I checked this morning.

If I were you I'd place my order now. There's no telling how many they will get in this manufacture run. Just my opinion.

Jermo,

What type of balancing tap do the 2 that you have - use?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what it's called but the Blinky balancer works 100% out of the box with it. First wire (black) is ground and each wire up is for a cell in order.

Thanks Jermo - I should be able to figure it out from here.

Once I got it - I will add a post back to this thread.
