Do I have to change the module to change the freq? I dont see a crystal anywhere.

Or you can buy the synthesized module and install it. Then the transmitter can be put on any 72 mhz freguency.

If you look at the side of the module you will see a little stick on cover. Removing the cover will give you access to the crystal.

True. But it's not legal to change just the crystal unless you have a qualified technician test and retune the RF module as necessary.
