Hi I am setting up my total G here is my issue:

I have leveled my swash plate w/ a leveling tool. When I apply full right aileron and then return the stick to neutral the swash does not come back to level. There is a a bit of right roll left in the swash. I thought that maybe my links were to tight so I sized then and it has not made a difference. I really doubt this is a total G issue, more likely I have a servo with a centering problem but I wanted to ask you guys for your input.

Thanks.

did you check and adjust your subtrims at 50% pitch to make sure the servos are around the 1500us mark? also do you have a jr radio by chance with pitch trim activated? if so you may be bumping the lever causing servos to move around a bit. also make sure when youre checking swash movements that the fc gain is at zero to get real-time movements with no electronic interaction. hover your mouse over the fc gain to make sure it is at zero.

I have a JR 12X thanks for the tips I will check this stuff out today. I am not 100 % sure that @ at 50% pitch the servos are around the 1500us mark. I will have to check the FC gain as well.

Thanks

Hey thanks I had the FC gain up to high when I was setting my servos up. It seems that the higher the FC gain is the more the gyro dampens the swash. What levels of FC gain are you guys using on first flights ?

I used 48 on my maiden flight.

when you set up your servos leave the FC gain at zero. that way the gyros aren't trying to correct anything giving you a false setup.

my t-rex 700n started with FC gain at 48. I'm still bumping it up slightly after each flying day. with align 3g wheels and the balls on the innermost holes my FC gain is at 60. just bumped it up to 65 to try out on my next flying day.
