Rotorworkz New 7.0 Lbs achievable T-600 frame kit

Gents here is a New frame I plan to release within days.

Ready to fly weight of this heli with Flight power 6s1p 4900 is 7.0 lbs = 3.175 kilogram

Cool Features are
1. Top mounted motor. Now you can add long lipo packs
2. I removed all bell cranks and replaced with direct linkage with Futaba 9650's the same servo's guys are using in Logo 14's.
3. Added 2mm Press in nuts so no more align plastic gizmo's.
4. Custom adjustable servo linkage arms that mount to your stock wheels


Note this is a prototype so general apperance and/or items may be located differently in released version.

During my test flights it did quite well with that stock 600L motor for the same flight time/routine I used 400 mah less out of the pack. I can only imagine when I get my NEU motor how alive this beast will become :twisted:

Seems like the pushrods is'nt parallell withe the mainshaft? Could one expect som interactions between the servo's because of that? If so can this be mixed down to zero interaction?

No.... as long as ALL links have the same angle then no interactions. What you might get is a "delta" which means you may have different feel from center to above or center to below. Realize servo arms make an arc... so now way from full pitch both ways are the links always going to be parallel to the main shaft. At center stick they could be but as you increase pitch or or decrease pitch the angles will change!

Does the canopy fit over the top mounted motor?

It does require trimming the canopy for the long motors such as the stock one. for the short outrunners should not have to trim.

How about a plettenberg orbit 30-12? Would I hav to trim the canopy for that one??

Can you make the servo pocket bigger to accomodate regular size servos? You'll have more options that way.

From what I can tell the Orbit will be close, the Z-Power should be no problem. I'll let ya know in a few days.

Funny you should say this.... EXACLTY what I was thinking man... FREAKIN POCKET ROCKET with Charlies new frames!

Charlie and I just got off the phone talking about the ULTIMATE Trex setup.... I wont say now but your DAMN close in the thinking :)

Charlie is looking to save weight, increase flight time and performance. I am doing the same but trying motors to do the same. Between the 2 of us.. WTACH OUT... A desire anyway :)

Currently Futaba 9650 is my servo of choice I have considered others

BUT to get the performance on 9650's you MUST be 6V... Perfect to use the stock Align regulator!

Is there possibly a list or measurement that you can provide for motors that won't require the canopy to be trimmed. Also what will be included with the frame and what's the target price?

Hitec 5225 will be a great choice also: same size, 10 dollars cheaper, and metal gears. It's only .01 sec slower.
