Has anybody done this? How much and which parts were needed? Is there alot more needed than just the side frames?

I have looked into that option, yes you need alot more than just the frames. mTo do it will cost you around $350-$400

Do you know if anyone has made a part list for it? 400USD seems like a decent alternative to selling the 700N and buying a whole new kit.

Look at these frames..
Cost 200 dollars and came with a slide out battery tray..

Here is the conversion i put together after IRCHA..

I'd like to see a close up pic of the elevator servo mounting.

I'll try to get a close up of it posted tonite.
the left side frame has 4 holes in it for the stock servo mount to bolt to. Then there is a carbon plate you have to bolt to the elevator A arm to get the correct offset for the links. There is also a plate with a bearing in it that bolts to the oppisite frame side to support the output shaft of the servo. Pretty neat really.

what is the weight?

Don't know off the top of my head. I'll get it weighed tomorrow.
Keep in mind tho.. It has a big ole chunk of a ESC (Powerjazz)
on it as well as a big ole reciever pack. A smaller ESC and a
2S pack something around 2000Mah would probly drop some
off of it. As well as FBL..

G-Force rear battery and motor mount $ 99, kep your nitro motor and pipe for a come back later on. it only take 15 mins to swap betwen nitro to electric and back. just take off the lg and bottom plate remove 8 crew from frame (4 from fan shroud , 4 from fram to motor mount) and you are really for Electric, kep stock front electric tray , event the throttle servo and governor on it, for fast flash go back into nitro. with G-force you have a 700e and 700n in 1 frame set for $99. best of both world .

rave 90 design the same way, same frame for both nitro and electric. make it cheap and easy to upgrade converting all the way around.

There have been alot of 3rd party conversion kits around for awhile for the 700N and in fact im flying one of them but the problem is always having to depend on non align suppliers for replacement parts and depend on align not to change anything that would make their 3rd party parts incompatible. At any rate, ive decided i just want a straight align solution this time.

Has anyone made a list of the 700E ALIGN parts needed to convert the 700N?

just go onto any of the online shops and go into the 700E parts section and just start adding them to your cart, thats what I did...its not that hard. You are going to need:
Bottom plate set
Receiver tray set
main bearing blocks
metal aileron/pitch arms
hardware set
frame mounting blocks
lipo tray set
linkage set
elevator arm set
motor mount
700E canopy (if desired)- nitro canopy will not fit the 700E
