For now, you should probably stick with the align 335s for most of your flying but do get a set of thunder power 325s to hover and move around some, you will definately notice a difference between the 2, from my experience the thunder powers are the best cf blades you can get for a 450 size.

I agree with Punkin to stick with the woodies for now. First off when the blades do hit the ground in a crash the woodies will break much easier which means less damage to the head of your heli. Plus the woodies are much less expensive to replace. You don't want to be shelling out the extra money for CF blades every time you break one.

I switched to CF too soon and did go through quite a few pair before going back to woodies. I even bent the main head block on one of my crashes with the CF blades on. I would wait until you can at least hover in all orientations before moving over to CF, or even possibly when you start getting inverted.

Now I don't crash as much and am back to the CF blades. For now I just use the cheap Hobby King CF blades, once I get a little better I will step up to some that are a little better quality.
