Hawk tail ???

Ok I broke down and got the "right " mechanics for the long ranger fuse I have. and the tail boom is 25mm too long so that the gear box is too far back and there isnt any way to put the tail cap on.
So I geuss this leaves me with 2 questions, first, does the SE frame kit move the tail forward 25mm? If not..next question.
Second, is whats the simplest way to shorten the boom and drive wire?

Yes, the correct boom for this fuse is a bit shorter. You'll also have to cut down your drive wire and the tail servo control arm.

How do I know this? I bought the boom you need... because it is red. And I thought red would look cool... but surprise!
