Hmmm, not sure Harlan The last time I weighed mine it was full of fuel and a 2oz header tank with Radix 600's and it was right at 8.4 lbs, I typically weigh mine ready to fly to get the best estimate.

Even at 8.4 fully loaded that isn't to bad. Considering fuel ,blades, ect.
why would you want to know weight of the heli with out having everything it needed to fly?

I would just like to see how it compares to other models of similar size.

In the interest of science :D I fueled up one of my Raptors which is mostly stock except for a Kasama head, green paddles, MA Tuff Struts, and CF fins and it comes in at 8lbs 1oz or 3.66 kg. This makes it slightly lighter than the Hurrican, but I think that the Hurrican may have a larger fuel tank making the difference in weight insignificant. I saw Clyde's Hurrican several weeks ago and was impressed.

The Hurrican 50's fuel tank is 420cc which will deliver a fight time of 10-13 min. give or take a min. On a Hyper 50 with a JK pipe. Thanks for the info Bob.

The weight of the Hurrican 50 no fuel, no blades it comes in at 7.5 which isn't bad at all. Seems to be right in line with the rest of the 50's on todays market.
