I am not used to such honest and helpful support from a forum. Most of my experience is on computer forums and car forums. Those types typically dive into the newbs yelling about searching and just posting links to similar questions instead of just taking 2secs to answer it.

Actually, you can find heli forums like that as well (one comes to mind right away). A lot of credit goes to the forum adminstrators for reminding us when necessary that we're all friends, and we're here to help each other out. Many of us are survivors of the type of site you described.

Is there a discount for we, the previously gratuitously abused? Can I get a bulk gratuitous abuse rate? Are there differing levels of gratuitous abuse? (Some days I need a little harsher gratuitous abuse than others.) Is there a gratuitous abuse FAQ? When do we, the previously gratuitously abused, gain the privledge, nay, the HONOR of gratuitously abusing others, or is gratuitous abuse protected under the covenants of the Spork Incorporated governance of gratuitous abuse and gratuitous abuse sub-types? At what point can gratuitous abuse become compensated abuse?

I think you misunderstand. Spork Inc (a multi-acquisitional conglomerate) appointed abusers are free to abuse without provocation. They may also give useful advice and/or solutions. However, if they consistently offer good advice and/or solve problems, without first abusing the requesting party, they will be sanctioned. It is not the useful advice that is required; that's optional. The abuse is mandatory - you dumb sonofa!#$&! <<< that one's a freebie!

Well last time around Oscillator whined until we agreed to scrape ourselves outta bed and get there at the ungodly hour of 9:00am - then he showed up at 10:00. We have not properly abused him for that yet. I propose 10:00am this saturday. I'll email everyone to set a time.
