My Stratus got this weird sound when i am flying.
I am not very sure where is it coming from, so i need some help from the expert here.
I have attach a short video clip of the heli flying (2mb size). U can hear the sound around 00:04 - 00:007
It sound like some metal rubbing or something like that. How do i solve it ?

Forget to let u guys know, u might need to turn on the volume up and bass down. Because when i am using my laptop with out bass, it's easier to hear until the sound. But when on my dasktop it's like very soft

If is not your engine, a bad bearing will make weird sounds, maybe torque tube bearing. By the way i didn't listen to the video. Some guesses good luck.

Bet money the spacer inbetween the clutch shoe and bell is missing and the shoe is rubbing the bell.

Well... I don't know the sourse... :? but... I've been in your position.
I hate this because it's a pain but you can pull the head off (or at least remove the blades) and remove the tail blades. Start 'er up, let the gov kick in and start listening (you are using a gov right?). If you still can't find the sound, remove the boom and listen. By now your looking at just the frame and main shaft. If you still hear something guess around the engine rear bearing or clutch stack. If you don't hear something guess around the boom.
I don't know. Finding a sound is a pain but it's not as hard as I've made it seam.
Hope this helps. Let us know what it is.
