Hi I have been flying Hyper Raptor fully 3d setup doing some 3d flying etc. Recently bought the pregadorgasser and it seems that its very touchy and I feel it does not hover a stable as my Hyper raptor.

Bought it second hand but with very few flights does not vibrate but just does not seems as stable in hover and kind very responsibe or touchy when flying it compared to my raptor.

What is best way to tame down this bird at least in the begining until I get used to its more agresive nature?

Exponentials? Are these OK to use in this bird? I have a 9CAP radio.
Other alternatives?

Thx

Rodney, The side with the two holes is conected by the inner hole. The side with 3 holes is conected in the midle hole.

Thx for your input!

Should be a mild setting. You could move the 3 hole side to the inside hole and that will slow down cyclic a little more. You do have the 3 hole side going to the seasaw correct?

What is your head speed? What size main blades? Gassers run a lot slower then Nitro. If you are running 710s I wouldn't exceed 1600 rpm in normal. That should smooth it out if headspeed is an issue.

What IS your head speed? Try 1550 in normal, 1650 in idle up 1 and 1750 in idle up 2. That should work pretty well on the gasser with the G26. I fly mine this way and it loves it.

I own the Spectra-g. With the stock white light paddles it was a little too touchy for me. Didn't like that feel. I swapped the paddles to the PRO II paddles with no weights (28g versus 20g) and its very sold with these paddles and I love the locked in feel with it. The white paddles it felt like it was wandering or too touchy in a hover.

Switch out to heavier paddles and add in some expo. Remember for Futaba it is negative, for JR positive numbers for expo. About 30% should be a good start and fine tune from there +/- 10%.

Rbort,

Can you give me more details on the Pro II paddles? I have the stock white ones on a Bergen and they are too hot for me. I'd like to try the ones you are flying but can't find them.

Thanks,
Lou

They are made by Minair. These ones have locking setscrews to prevent them from twisting around once leveled. Also can be built with weights but I build mine empty and they come out at 28g. Would be up to 40g with weights.

Minair also sells non configurable black plastic paddles which I believe are already 28g as well.
