just curious?
What is a good failsafe setting for an helicopter
like a T-rex 600?
should I set it so it will drop out of the sky if I
loose signal? Or something a little less drastic.
I havn`t used it just because I`m not sure how to.
the last thing I want is a runaway 50 size helo.
I am using Q-PCM so the problem may seem remote
but better safe then sorry.
Larry.

Make it fall out of the sky. If you don't have any control during a lockout you don't want it to cause any harm to other people or property.

Like Laurens said, make it fall.
Throttle off, all other controls either hold or center, your choice.
I set a little bit of rudder in to ensure that it will fall straight down.
By killing the throttle, there will be less inertia in the rotor system when it hits. This will reduce damage a little.

Thanks gentelmen,

My first intention was to let it fall, but not knowing
the ins and outs of failsafe procedure thought I would
ask someone who knows what their talking about.

Larry.
