New Razor. No canopy?

My Razor kit came today. There is no canopy. Is this normal?

They all shipped without canopies because they didn't have them in-house yet. From what I hear, they will be shipping at a later date to wherever you bought it from or directly to you - but shipping cost is at your expense.

If thats true - then its garbage. the customer should not have to pay for the suppliers timing issues. I doubt that its true.

Believe me, I am not trying to start rumors - I love the Min Air product and the people there are great,
I just heard from the store I was buying from - that if I want the heli. now, I would have to pay the additional postage for shipping the canopy - I believe he meant coming from Min Air - and if not and you got the kit early from an online store - and then had to have it shipped again - somewhere in that transaction - you would need to pay for additional shipping.
In any event - its no biggie - Min Air is just trying to get the kits out because people want them - its obvious they are doing their best. No complaints on my end - even if I had to pay a few more bucks to get the canopy - In this hobby - its mice nuts compared to the addictive buying habits we have regarding all the components and parts we buy. Not the most efficient argument, but truthful.
If I am wrong - I stand corrected!

hey , if you have a Ion canopy laying around , it fits pretty good , I have one on mine in my gallery , just have to cut the top out so it will slip on a bit more and drill some new holes

cool - I actually think its cool that they didn't wait for canopies and just went for it - If you haven't been the in the kit business with 100's of parts - its no easy chore to get it together - especially a new model with new components - there is always someon who is late.
Ok, I am done with this subject - psyched to build the Razor - yeaaaaaa

Got my Razor on Wednesday with no canopy but I not too concerned about the canopy because it will be the last thing to go on after all the test flights and esc programming and then I will be spending time on prepping the canopy for paint and a nice paint job
